New member - long time lurker!

Hi all, I've been visiting this site for 6 years but have only just registered. I suppose I felt I was not qualified to be a member because my trips have been quite tame compared to most others here. I have only managed to get as far as central Romania but when the time is right I intend to get farther and see much more. Like most, I can only manage the "annual" 2 or 3 week block for a bike trip.
I am getting married hopefully in 2012 and the honeymoon will be a 4 week stint on the bike :scooter:

Maybe see some of you at the 2011 UK meet. I'm on a Black 2005 KTM adventure, dark green tent and with a grin from ear to ear beer

Welcome to the HUBB and may there be many more trips planned not just the honeymoon.:D

Welcome to the site. Does your future bride ride her own bike or you planning on going 2up?

LC8rider 23 Jan 2011 15:18

We will be riding two up. She wants to learn to ride, and I'll support her when she's ready to take it up. She has a twin sister who rides so that is an inspiration.
The honeymoon trip looks like it will be a toss up between a jaunt up to Nordkapp and back through Finland or down to the heel of Italy, across to Albania (if there's a ferry) and back up home. I need to check distances/time for the trip. It's no fun belting along at warp one just to cover the mileage :nono:
This working-for-a-living really gets in the way :(

Hello and :welcome: LC8rider. I believe I have seen your posts on ADVrider. I used to own a '06 Adventure. It sure was a fun ride :thumbup1:

It's not the size of the trip you've done, it's the size of the dream you want to do which qualifies you as a HUBBer!

Welcome to the club. :)

Dave.
