Hi. I've spent the last month soaking up the info on this site, and have found it an excellent resource.

Wanted to introduce myself properly.

British guy, mid 30s, living in NYC (hence the screen name). Done a lot of traveling, but very little by bike. Mainly thats been limited to dirt bikes over the years.

Just getting into Dual Sport, about to buy a bike (something mid sized like a KLR or F650), with the intent of using it around the North East as training, then across the US, and hopefully beyond (as I prepare to quit, sell up and travel).

Hope to meet some of you someday. Let me know if there's anyone from my neck of the woods, and if there are any trails around me too.
