Smile Hellow from San Diego, CA

Just join HU and would like to greet everyone on the forum. I love to travel on a motorcycle and meet new friends along my journey.

I'm planning to attend the HU meeting at Cambria on Oct 2013 and wish to make new friends there. One of my dream is to ride from San Diego via Peru in the near future.

Ride safe to all,
Gery

Gery, do you indeed own and ride a 1998 Virago?

Regardless, I'm here in SD, as well, and am always ready to ride and help out HU travelers passing through America's Finest City!

Hi Dan,

Yes.. I use to own a 98 Yamaha Virago 1100 but unfortunately, she got total couple years ago by someone who was using a cell phone as driving a SUV which cause the accident.

Maybe we can meet sometimes and have a cup of coffee somewhere in San Diego area. I'm open mostly on Sunday.

Ride safe,
Gery

It's nice to meet you in personal today. As I'm talking with you, I already knew that we both have passion with motorcycle and we will become a good friend. Hope sometimes that we could explore to an open roads on a 2-wheels in the near future. Below is your picture together with your monster Triumph before we wave each other after lunch.

Ride safe,
Gery

Hello to those of you from my favourite US city, San Diego (then it's Boston). I spent a few enjoyable days there in the middle of my 2006 ride around the US. Gaslight Quarter, Fat Bottom Brewery, the superb Patrick II blues bar in F Street and the USS Midway. Happy memories.

Glad to know that you enjoyed your visit here in San Diego last 2006. San Diego is a paradise for us as we could really ride most of the season and a great place for all outdoor people. The white sand beaches, mountains, and deserts area are just a couple minutes ride from San Diego Town. Ping us on your next visit and maybe we can show you around.

Ride safe,
Gery

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
