Pozdrav, from Slovenia

Hello fellow riders and adventurers!

I'm Niko and I am not new to this site, I just never felt enough experienced to write anything significant.
After some 5 years of "serious" riding and about 40000kms under my ass, I still feel like I have nothing smarter to say, but more and more questions are rising in my head, so I definitely needed to join and start to ask them!
Just to write some more about me, I'm young and in love with this great great World(not talking about politics). After some time spent traveling in different ways I realized that the best way of travel is going back to the roots, to what I always admired. Motorcycles. So now, I live happily with a Kawa KLX650 '95 and a KTM exc which I used for racing and I intend to sell to feed my travel budget.
I got bitten by the travel bug two years ago, after a trip through Europe and since than my mind's traveling by it's own. I can't help myself but planning and dreaming new trips and new places to travel to and to live. The World is to big and as I say, there is too many women, too many booze and too many scents to just stay at home and be a zombie!
Plus, I got bored staying in front of the tv... reality's not for me.

I would like to thank Grant and Susan for this magnificent idea and also a big up for all of you, intrepid, so called crazy adventurers, who made it grow as far I know, to the most resourceful site in the web which gives me a spoon full of inspiration every morning!

Thank you!

Peace,
Niko

No bora but snow It was pretty funny to see the caos that 5cm of snow can make (for those who don't know, on Slovenian coast, snow is something exotic)

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
