Howdy from Tucson
James here, from Tucson, Arizona, USA. Someone gave me Chris Scott's Overlanders' Handbook for Christmas, which pointed me to this site. Ihave been lurking for a few weeks now. We have a 1968 Land Rover Dormobile which we have owned for 9 years and have used extensively in the western USA. We are seriously considering taking it further afield for 6 months to a year.
Being a right hand drive vehicle originally sold in the UK, one thing which concerns us is all these reports on this forum of RHD vehicles being barred from more and more countries in Latin America. I suppose we could convert it to LHD but that would require a lot of work, especially for relocated the air conditioning I added to the left footwell. I really don't want to do that, but I suppose that falls into my bin of first world problems.
Looking forward to reading more on this site.
