Horizons Unlimited - The HUBB - Hi from the south of England

Hi all, I hail originally from South Africa but now live on the south coast of the UK near Portsmouth:Beach:.
I have recently returned for a holiday to South Africa, we're I caught up with a good old friend that have not seen for yearsjeiger (13 to be exact) he is a avid adventure biker having ridden solo from Cape Town to Egypt and then a couple years later from Cape Town to Cameroon, anyway enough about that when I was in South Africa we rented some bikes, mine being a gs1200 and went from George to Jeffery's bay and back to George being some 1000km mostly off road :scooter:going through baviaans kloof nature reserve, having never really ridden off-road I have truly got the bug.:mchappy:
On returning back to the UK we have hatched a plan! I have bought a yamaha xt660 tenre and we are planning a trip for next year to do the trans American trail, so will be trialling through the forum and no doubt asking some questions that have been asked time and time agin and sum really stupid onesdoh I am sure
