Hi from Scotland
 

Retired from work in May. I'm 49 :thumbup1:. Grand plan was to travel on a motorcycle. Completed my motorbike training a couple of weeks ago and picked up my new Triumph Sprint GT.

Apart from being scared of a big bike, plan is the North of Scotland and Ireland before Xmas 2010 and a grand European tour for my 50th. All talk I know. I have a friend in same position, he will complete his test by the 4th Nov and then we are off.

FANTASTIC retired at 49 .Theres no hurry to do big trips just enjoy your bike build confidence and when it feels right theres nothing to stop you riding off into the sunset for a day ,week, month,year.
