My wife and I are British Ex Pats who escaped the Rat Race

You may find that the guests like the good weather too thus restricting your own enjoyment of same. Hopefully you 'll be able to work around that 'problem'.

Sorry for falling foul of the advertising, my bad

Does that mean I cannot mention our place in The Accommodation section?

It is all well and good sending PM's, but until now I can't reply. Seems a bit daft not to be able to?

Again I can only apologise but seeing all kinds of places mentioned under accommodation who don't appear to be advertisers I misunderstood. Being a very small B&B we don't have an advertising budget unfortunately.

It's not as clear as we'd like!

Someone ELSE can post about your place, as that is a "traveller making a recommendation" which is part of what the board is all about. If YOU post about it, it's an ad. Ads are very inexpensive, so do consider it. See the adrates page.

Thank you Grant.

While we would love to be able to advertise, we are very small and there isn't the budget. But we do offer Garage and a good tool selection for any Bikers in need with no obligation to stay with us. We also have a very good mechanic nearby. We are always happy to help a fellow biker in need.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
