Here seeking some help.

Admin could probably help here and especially if I've missed the correct section to put this.

I'm searching for someone who can stand in front of a 10-20 people and give a talk on their travels. The only catch is they must have a good photographic record of their travels and be able to narrate the pictures whilst projected.

As the new chairman to our photographic group I'm keen on getting more real life photographic presentations into the club and hence HU came to mind.

The pay is crap and so is the coffee but if travelling any distance you'd be put up for a couple of nights giving you time to tour locally.
If anyone is interested but not done this kind of thing before I can give guidance and support throughout so if you're interested please do get in touch.

Hopefully Admin won't take this as Spam. I'm simply trying to link up someone who would be interested in giving a talk on their travels and get something in return. Some people charge good money to bore the pants of photographic groups and hence why I'm trying this route.

Thank you.

With all those giving great talks at Ripley, I suspect there's a few out there who'd be great!

If you're a good communicator and have quality images to compliment your travels there is a reasonable amount of money to be made on the photo club circuit.
Obviously some history with photography is necessary.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
