New from Holland

Hello you guys!

I'm Wim, student Industrial Design Engineering in Delft, holland. Riding a suzuki intruder vs800 at the moment Spending my hollidays camping, climbing and biking!

I found this forum through the dutch Motor-Forum, and this seems like a cool site! Don't have any near futere plans for far trips yet, so I'll just be reading along here first
Do have a far future "plan" to go on a trip to central Asia But it will take at least two more years before I graduate and get a decent job to save up some money for that... Also I don't have any off-road experience yet (chopper rider), so there will be some trips to marocco or spain first to get a feeling for that kind of biking.
So it will be quite some years before that dream is comming true, but in the meanwhile i'll just read along here and get inspired

Regards,
Wim

Welcome to both of you!

You'll find that we don't really care what you ride - you can travel on anything at all, in fact some big rides have been done on everything from a Honda C90 to Harley Electra Glides to Gold Wings, with an R1 or two in the middle! Ride what you love / have, but just do something a little more than you've done before!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
