Hello from Plech, Germany via Kandahar, Afghanistan!
 

Hello All,

Whilst in the middle of my deployment here in Afghanistan I've been planning my big summer motorcycle trek with Mrs. Tread and have been coming across Horizons Unlimited as a great source of information and such; so here I am!

Been riding for over 24+ years and have been truly lucky to be stationed in Germany. Europe is just an amazing place to ride. As much as I miss the US, they will have to drag me kicking and screaming out of Germany!

I have a little problem with buying motorcycles and storing them in my garage (or friends garages). Current stable is a 1971 CB550 Cafe project, 2000 Hayabusa (in a frozen Canadian garage along with the Honda), 2003 V-strom (my main squeeze), and two Yamaha GTS-1000s.

Look forward to gleaning lots of info from here and enjoying the reports.-tire
