Hello from SA

Hello everyone............I have never seen so much information on a forum from so many countries. Great to be here and I'm sure we will learn a lot.
O yes, we are from South Africa and my wife and I travel only by Superbikes and love every second of it.

Hey thanks for the very warm welcome here. Ok so I'm from South Africa and like dave ett say SA is big and I'm from Secunda which you will find in Mpumulanga.
Touring Ted thank you very much for the complement about our country, its a shame that most South Africans don't reallize what they have.
I do like your web site and travel logs.

As you guys have seen on my web site, we only travel around South Africa and will one day venture outside the borders, but for now there is still to many places I have not seen in my country.

Our next trip around South Africa starts on the 15th of April 2011 and I will keep you guys up to date everyday.

Hey Daryll, thanks let me know what are your travelling plans, I'm currently working every weekend but that will soon end. In April we will also be on the road. Will you still be in South Africa? I see from your blog that you will be going to the cape, maybe we will see each other there????? We will be in the cape on the 20th April.....

We should be in the Cape Town area mid-April as well, so stay in touch and we could meet for a . I don't think we would be able to keep up if we went for a ride though.

Welkom

Welcome, to the Hubb, I have spent a bit of time in SA, I'm doing a film course there in May before heading to Nairobi to work our way down to SA again, lived in Durbs for a couple of years. Great place (gotta say that my wife is Sth. African) I'm from Mackay in Queensland and ex Sth. Africans make up 10% of the population here, so there is no shortage of biltong or springbok shots anyway great to have you on board.
Cheers
Paul

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB.
