Hello from South Korea

Hello!
We are 2 women bikers, Tipi and Chae, from South Korea.

currently on a road.

We have been travelling Eurasia for 11 month by 2 scooters (Honda PCX 125cc).

We acrossed Russia from the far east to the west, and went through Ukraine, Hungary, Slovenia, Italia, France, and Spain.
We shipped from Santander, Spain to Portsmouth, England last December.
We stayed in London during winter time, and set off again in April.

We met lots of beautiful adventure bikers in UK. They put up with us, gave us hot shower and warm food. We are grateful for them.

We are currently in Umea, Sweden after passing through England, Walse, Ireland, Scotland, England again, France again, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherland, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, and Oslo, Norwey.

We are heading to the North Cape (Nord Capp) at the moment. We tried to make an account on HU, but failed several times. Now this does work.

writing this message in a Mcdonalds. got to go right now.
Our bikes are parked somewhere around here we can not see them.

Nice to meet you.

post a link to your blog, Please!?!?!??!!!!!!

yes! i agree with Robert- maybe you could just post a link to your blog? that way people will see pictures of you, and even if they don't speak Korean, they might be able to understand where you have been and where you are going without you haveing to rewrite everything here. also- if the see pics, they might recognize you when they see you on the road!

Thumbs up

Is there a blog with more info and some pictures? I like the idea of doing a big trip on a small scooter!

Hi. Tipi and Chae stayed with me (and my dog Jackie who they loved!) when they were in Ireland. They wrote to me inviting me to stay, but I need an email address or phone number. Can you help me find them? Email me, or my daughter Louise (faviernyc@hotmail.com)
Much appreciated. Willie

More adventures ahead!

Thanks so much for your quick reply.
Looking at the motorbike adventures on the internet made me want to get back on a bike!
Many years ago I rode from Ireland to Turkey on a 125 and had amazing experiences!
Good luck with all of yours.
If you are ever in Ireland, come and stay anytime!
Thanks so much
Willie

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
