Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events such as this one (18 this year!); we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, the HUBB or
to receive the e-zine. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and

Hullo All.
Am joining HU to share stories, get some tips and pick some brains about biking in SE Asia. I've already done a couple of trips in Nth Thailand on step-thrus and a couple of years ago did the 'Top Gear' thing on a Chinese C100 from Hanoi to Saigon (in the rainy season, lol) Over the last 35 years I've also done the usual tours around europe following racing etc.
In Jan 2013 I'll be in Thailand and try to make the Chiang Mai meet up. I fancy doing some riding in Burma and then Nth Thailand passing down along the Mekong to Cambodia.
I've got a Fazer 1000 here at home plus a nice R80 mono i'm restoring. I had a Kwak ER6 a while ago and rate it, so will be looking to get one in Thailand for tours.
Other hobbies include scuba, surfing, real ale, women -anything risky!
