Greetings From Wanaka New Zealand

Hey all.

My name is Andi (sounding like a support group now), my wife's name is Ellen.

We live in Wanaka New Zealand Lake Wanaka Tourism Official Site for Wanaka, New Zealand

I am 45 year young this year, been owned by 37 bikes and riding for 32 years, Ellen has only been riding for a year or so, she has obtained her motorbike license so we can carry out our dream road trip adv riding the America top to bottom and beyond.

We are well traveled but this will be our first big trip away going from Prudhoe bay Alaska down to Ushaia Argentina.

After hosting many mad adventure world tourers it is our turn to go and play, have joined HU so we don't have to reinvent the wheel and hopefully to meet up with like minded nuttas around the world.

Cheers Andi

Enjoy your trip - maybe meet you on the road.

Was in Wanaka in 2000 when touring South Island with GoTourNZ. Lots of good memories.

Welcome!

Yes, wanaka is a lovely spot. Did a season at Treble Cone in '99. Lived on the Matai Rd - highest house on the hill with views right across the lake. Great memories!

G'day Andi [et Ellen] - and welcome.

Super part of the world you live in. Love the Cardrona Valley /Crown Range to Queenstown, which I've travelled across and over (both ways), several times.

Good luck with your future travel plans

KEITH

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
