Greetings from Copenhagen, Denmark!
Hello everyone!
My name is Andreas, 31 years old and for some reason I am thinking about doing a trip around South America (SA). This summer I bought a used Kawasaki Versys and went around Eastern Europe on it. It was fantastic and I want more! So I am considering going to somewhere in South America, spend a month or two learning Spanish, buying a motorcycle more fitted for SA and driving around there for an unknown and unrestricted amount of time (of course it is restricted by certain boring things like finances and stuff  ).I have a few challenges as I only speak Danish and English, my mechanical skills are non-existent and I have no sense of direction I am thinking about starting this trip in about 6 – 12 months and in the mean time my main concern is learning some basic motorcycle mechanics (not sure where to do this, bought a few books waiting for them to arrive...), finding a good starting location, finding the right bike for the job and learning (a lot) more about SA Looking forward to asking you a lot of questions (and later answering a few) and maybe drinking a few  s if our paths cross in real-life Best, Andreas
