Greetings from Bay Area, California

Hi everyone ~~

I'm excited to join a forum that combines two of my favorite hobbies -- traveling and motorcycling. I've been traveling over the past several years now -- through Europe, Asia (South, Southeast, Cental), Australia, South America, and the Middle East. I've recently been trying to incorporate the biking hobby into these travels. Earlier this year, I was inspired to do a Vietnam bike trip on a Russian Minsk after seeing an episode of Top Gear.

My upcoming trips will likely focus on biking through Europe so I look forward to using the info resources available here.

In terms of local trips, I generally stick with day rides around the Bay Area, but have taken a road trip up to Fort Bragg from San Jose via a ZX-6RR -- probably one of the most painful rides. I definitely wouldn't recommend a sportsbike for a road trip (duh). I've been more focused on track events lately, but I still love the feel of hitting the public roads.

Anyways, I look forward to using the site and hopefully I'll be near a HUBB meeting sometime to meet some members.
