Gang of four...
 

... that´s us; Chris (me), my wife and two boys, 12 and 14 yrs of age. We live in central Germany, near Mainz at the Rhine River. I ride a ´96 Africa Twin, missus owns a 2008 Transalp (XL700VA) and the kids own the comfy chairs in the back. In 2010 and 2011 we spent two weeks each in Norway, fully loaded with camping gear, collecting about 4.000km in-country. We´re outdoor folks anyways, paddling, hiking etc.. My wife has her bike license only since 2009, so you may understand me being flabbergasted when missus one day came up with the idea to take the bikes to N. Couldn´t say no, could I?
This year we´re planning a 23 day tour through Central and Eastern Europe: Czech Rep., Slovakia, Poland, Ukraine, Moldovia, Rumania, Hungary, Austria, Germany. For world travellers this might be a tiny route, well it isn´t for us and we are swamped in travel guides, maps and website links to come up with an interesting route. (RTW might be an option some day later, however).
If anyone comes our way on a longer trip, let us know and we´ll show you the area if time permits.
