First impressions
Hi all,
i picked up my 1100gs on Saturday. I had a 340 mile ride home. Been for a 50 run on local roads tonight. First impressions, heavy, but hard to tell when your on the move. Comfortable Nice riding position Excellent aftermarket screen, no need to put the visor down. Clunky gearbox, well there's a surprise  Torquey Turns quickly. Doesn't appreciate traffic jams, high first gear!! I think it is a great mileater, at the moment though to be honest i'm not convinced it is the bike for me, but it's early days. Barnstorming machine in the right application. How people take these offroad i'll never know!!!. Your comments please  atb Red
