Arrived in the HUBB!

"Moin Moin"

After all the month of trip preparations, contact to travellers in Germany and here in Southamerica and my fiorst travellermeeting in Viedma, I thought... would be a nice idea to register yourself in the HUBB

I know, after 2 years of "using" this board, it´s a bit late but better than never. You know, we germans are a little lazy, as soon we could get informations in german, we leave the english boards alone... (not all, but the most)

I´ll try to stay up to date with the HUBB and I hope I could deliver some more or less usefull informations about Southamerica and whatever comes next!
OK, a few of you know me, because you are following me on my way through Chile and Argentina - For all other readers....
I´m a 29 years old german traveller on tour with an Africa Twin in Southamerica. Time is not limited and I hope I´ll arrive someday in Alaska. I stoped making plans, normally they´ll never come true here in SA.
Oh yes... I´m also one of the travellers with a "german only" website, hope I could translate it in future but it´s a lot of work. Sad to say but my actual solution is a translation service, linked on my starting page - funny english comes out of it - Maybe better than mine!
So far, that was my first entry -- Maria I got it!!!

Gutenabend und Willkommen zum Aufstellungsort.
And if the German is poor please blame Altavista as that did the translation for me.

Welcome Sebastian:

...and please, take a shower!

and stop snoring, eh....it makes Carola cranky in the morning.

And if you're up for a ride, another 2 bottles of wine from the mercado would be nice. I'll watch your gear.

New to Horizons Unlimited?

New to motorcycle travelling? New to the HU site? Confused? Too many options? It's really very simple - just 4 easy steps!

Horizons Unlimited was founded in 1997 by Grant and Susan Johnson following their journey around the world on a BMW R80G/S.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
