Counting down the days

Hi folks, yet another newbie. Long time lurker first time poster!

I'm Al, I live in North Shields UK, currently ride a BMW F800S and planning a year-long ride to distant shores starting in March 2009. This year is all about setting up work, finance and property stuff so that I can afford to do it, and making plans for the trip.

Nice to be here, hope to be around a lot more often!

If anyone's ever up Newcastle way stop by for a !

Cheers,
Todderz

Are you planning on taking your F800 on the trip? I'd like to see how you do with it, not many riders have gone the long road on the 800 far as I've heard.

But with the coming of the new F800GS, there are bound to be heaps on the road soon.

What is your route plan so far? How long away?

Cheers,

Patrick

Hey Todderz, This upcoming year is going to feel like the longest year of your life! Putting the trip together will be a lot of fun though: at least it has been for me. Just be prepared for your every waking thought to be consumed by the trip for the last 6 months or so. Anyways, welcome to the Hubb and good luck!

Hello Todderz,

Good luck with your planning for your long trip. I'll look out for you if your around north Northumberland on the weekend rides. Get a cuppa with you some where. I ride a white xtz660 with Horizons Unlimited stickers on the panniers so say hello if ever you see me.

Cheers Gav.
