Ciao. Hello from Italy, I am Marcello "Gold Wing".
I live in Lecce, in southern Italy, and I like to travel with my Gold Wing 1500 of '98. With this bike I traveled 749,000 kilometers in 3 continents and 64 countries. I have no car. My last trip "long" was in 2011 from Italy to Japan and back (video), for 34,000 km and 2 months. Travel during the holidays, I'm a normal employee. My motto is "The aim is the road" (italian: "La meta è la strada"), because I consider more important than the place where we want to go, how to get there, and everything that we encounter along the way. The trips I made are described on my website www.gold-wing.it, but unfortunately only in Italian, but the maps and thousands of photos need no translation. My next trip will be (from October to December 2013) Round the World ... for which, however, I will open a special topic.
