Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events such as this one (18 this year!); we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, the HUBB or
to receive the e-zine. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and

Thought I'd drop in here and say "hello". Former PBC veteran who's now thinking apart getting back out to Africa in something 2WD but wants to build something that'll come and go to the Continent a couple of times.
Used a Land Rover for the PBC, but it was free(I worked in a LR based engineering company at the time)
Work and life got in the way for a while after that but the wanderlust is begining to return and 2WD/RWD is going to be my choice.
Really fancy traversing north africa to start with passing into Morocco then driving across to Egypt then back up through Europe.Have a few ideas for cars and think I've decided what I'm aiming for just need the right one to turn up at the time and for the right money(LHD so might hit the continent to find a suitable base car!)
