Website running slow?

Not sure if this is just me or if it's a common issue, but over the last couple of days the HUBB appears to be running a lot slower than normal. It just seems to take an age for new pages to load up.

Accessing the site through my laptop using Google Chrome, it does seem to be a little bit faster if I use IE, but still a little slow.

Are the Hamsters all OK Grant?

Love the pic - so that's what makes my computers run!

Our hamsters are all well, although I noticed yesterday everything on the net was slow, but HU seemed fast! So far as I know there is no problem with the server, it should be fine. Anyone else noticed anything?

Grant

Seems to have improved since my initial post. It may just have been other users sucking the bandwidth at my end, very inconsiderate if that is the case, don't they know that works bandwidth is the property of the IT Dept!!!

Everything ....

.... ok here in the Far East! Maybe the internet connection in Japan is better than in other countries????? :confused1:

No, seriuously, no problems at all, however, I've suggested to Grant a long time ago to work on the pics, reduce the size which will result in shorter loading times.

Well, maybe some day, when or if I have enough time (latest retirement age, which is another 8 to 10 years down the road) .........

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
