Topic sorting broken?
Hi,
I've always seen topics listed with the latest posts at the top. In the section Recommend - Sleep and Eat spots all topics are jumbled. I can sort them by clicking on the heading, but the next time in there it's back to random. The boxes at the bottom where you can choose sort orders and then click the button next to it don't work at all. Other sections I have tried are ok. |

Hi,
They're not random, they're alphabetical so you can just scroll down and find where you're looking. Makes sense to me, as I think date/freshness is really unimportant, at least for a few years. No?

It would make sense, if people actually stuck to your recommendations as to headings, but we have topics starting with "Gday", etc.
Anyway, if this is intentional then I just go away. I tried the sort box at the bottom again and sorting by date in ascending order works, but not descending. Never mind, clicking on the headings is easier anyway. Thanks for listening. |

re Gday - when I have a minute I will edit and fix such stuff. You're right it's annoying and it would really help if people tried harder to make it more useful for all.
we always listen... don't always agree of course ... ![]() don't know why descending order sort doesn't work, it should. hmmm. add that to the list. I wonder if its only the recommend forums or all forums with that issue? ta!
