Hi Grant and Susan, this is probably a bit space intensive, but would it be feasible to have a place on this site where international road maps could be stored. Idealy hubbers could make notes on roads eg..it doesnt exist any more etc, or watch out you will enter a country you didnt mean to etc.

It might make it easier for travellers to plan and keep tabs of things on the road. It might also save on carrying maps for those not GPS equipped that are travelling through a few countries.

It may also mean its easier to follow some of the travellers trips especially the Sahara where pist this to pist that can get a little confusing.

I dont know if its possible for you to have a pay for download for those with suitable GPS units also..although I expect its a bit slow in many places from an internet cafe.

I have a GPS routes system in mind, but this would be an intersting addition. Consider it added to the feature list.


Yes it's possible, and probably necessary given the cost of bandwidth. We are already close to our limit and will be paying even more soon. Zipped files help.
