Email on update to thread
Hey Grant,
Something that occurred to me.. I'm subscribed to a couple of projects in sourceforge , and one of the things I really like about how that works is when an issue that that I've opened is subsequently updated by someone else, I get an email to tell me that it's been updated. I can also set a "watch" on someone elses issues, so that I get notified of changes there too. It just means that if there's something I'm particularly interested in, I don't have to keep on manually checking it, as i get updated when it changes, if it changes, sometimes even years later (which is always a welcome event, actually). Is there anything along these lines available on the HUBB, on a thread by thread basis? I have to say, the HUBB is a great resource... I'm finding out all sorts of useful information that I just couldn't find together elsewhere. Keep up the good work. Colm (aka "phoenix") |

E-Mail Notification
Colm
Have you seen when you post that you can choose e-mail notification, though I think you might have to add to a thread yourself to 'watch' it. Your idea is a good one for following threads on your own bike type or region of travel. Last edited by Stephano; 31 Oct 2006 at 03:46. |

Also see "Thread Tools" at the top of the posts - "subscribe to thread"
It's always worthwhile to have a good look around when you visit a new forum - hover your mouse over strange icons, check out all the menus everywhere - there's tons of options most users never find because they are focused on results, and what they know, and gloss over what they don't know. enjoy the HUBB Colm!
