Grant,
I was thinking that although the 'view todays topics' link is really useful, I always find myself then going to each forum of interest to check if there are any topics posted AFTER I had looked the previous day. So for example if I checked the HUBB at 5pm on the Monday and then someone posted a topic at 6pm that same day, if I then use the 'view todays topics' link on the Tueday I would miss that post unless i went to the specific forum and checked for it. Wouldn't it be useful to have a link to the last 2 days (or even the last 24 hrs), then if you checked it once a day you would not miss anything?

Paul,

One thing I didn't realise for ages is that the light bulbs to the left of each forum name show whether or not there have been any new posts since your last visit from the same computer - a useful addition to the 'check daily' option. Not so useful if you keep swapping computers, though!

The light bulbs do help, but we are also looking at adding "last 2 days" etc as well. Not easy - we have to write the code ourselves - (in other words get someone to do it for us.)

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
