I can´t figure out how to indent a paragraph. When I preview in Movable Type, it looks fine, but on HU it is different. Any clues.

Why can´t we enable comments (the qustion mark doesn´t work on this keyboard) That is the biggest complaint from my friends who read this. Also if people could comment, it would let me know if anyone reads my blather.

It looks fine in the preview I suspect because I'm guessing you're using spaces - full html ignores multiple spaces and only puts out one to the browser - so 1 or 20 or 100 spaces all look like one.

As for comments - I wish - the reason they are off is the thousands of SPAM comments the scum put in - you'd be spending your life deleting the spam comments. They use automated robots to hit all the blogs - we were getting hundreds EVERY DAY before I closed it off.

We are upgrading to new software for the blogs in a very few months - then there will be no problem with comments, as people will have to answer "captchas" - those things that you have to read squiggled text and then input what it says. It's taking a while because it has to integrate with the whole new system - single sign-on to all your HU toys and goodies. Lots more coming with that upgrade. We're working hard in the background to make it all happen! :)

In the meantime let people know they can email you via the copyright link at the bottom of the page.

Thanks but what I really meant was just how to indent the first line of a paragraph. I figured out how to put a line break between paragraphs, and that makes it a lot more readable.

Ah! that's a little trickier - the easy way for you at this time is to just neter what's called a non-breaking space

written as follows in the code:

Perhaps a few of them will do the job, depending on how much space you like.
