Tubeless tyres on Tiger.
I was into the local dealer here in Minneapolis and they had an Aprilla Caponard on the floor. It had unique rims in that they were spoke type but they were able to run tubeless tyres. Has anyone researched wether those rims could be put on other bikes? My 1999 Tiger has similar straight pull spokes like the Caponard. I didn't count the spokes but if they were the same I'm sure a wheel shop could make some new spokes and mount them on the Triumph hubs. I have no idea the price of Aprilla parts or if those rims could be gotten straight from the manufacturer for less money. Anybody else have an opinion?:confused1:
