Hello all, since I was last here my situation has changed a bit and I've just had a couple of babies ( an HP2 and delivery of 1200 Adventure next week). I'm still going for the Triumph project but I've shoved it back a few months.....

.... and in the meantime, I've handed in my notice, bought a Bonneville -- bog standard, and all the more beautiful for that, IMO -- with plans to take it out on the roads of Europe for a looooong trip starting this summer. More on that shortly, but I'll keep you posted on how the bike performs.
A new seat is a *top* priority! Congratulations on yr new twins ;-) --Mike |

Hello boys and girls,
I've lurked around here for ages now and this topic has made me reply. I ride a '99 Tiger and and '04 Thruxton. Thing is I think a new Bonnie would make a great bike to tour/adventure on...maybe not the Scrambler, as much as I like the looks, but maybe a T100 with suitable bits added on. Sorry, no useful information for you but I'm very interested to see where the idea/plan goes. Cheers, John |
