Don't know anything about your bike specifically but,
Does the bike have an immobiliser on it?
Is it fuel injected or carbs?
Have you tried jump starting it?
Have you tried bump starting?

The fact that you say nothing happens say to me it's the starter relay or before. If it was the starter motor or low voltage you usually get a click out of the relay.

I'm sorry to say you need to get a wiring diagram and multimeter and start following the voltage. The circuit is battery- fuse-imobiliser (if fitted) - ignition- kill switch - starter switch - relay. The fuse and switches are easy to test, the relay easy to swap. To prove the point, you can always jump 12 volts straight onto the relay. If it turns over the problem is nearer the battery still.

Trophy Troubles

My Trophy does exactly the same, i will be following my electrics from the start switch down. If i come accross anything, ill let you know. So far, the only other problem has been that the main cable to the starter mootor works its way loose and the arcing causes oxidising of the connection, followed closely by very poor starting. Emery paper and a 10mm spanner sorted that one!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
