need info on 1995 t509 speedtriple

Hey everybody,
I am looking into buying a used 1995 speedtriple t509 855cc. I have owned and ridden all of the Japanese makers but I am unfamiliar with Triumph. I would like info from any and all who have owned one of these bikes. Are there common problems to look for? What were your impressopns of the bike and ownership experiences? Do you recommend this bike as a good long term bike for ownership, or are these bikes known to have issues? Thanks for any and all help. Jwood

or here ...

T595net - Message Board

I had 2 955i Speed Triples and had no problems really - one had a noisy fuel pump - fixed under warranty.

The web site is very good ....

I would point out that the T509 Speed Triple wasn't even made until two years later, but you will get a better idea at TriumphRAT.net
