Question The mythical triumph trophy gel seat

Rumour has it that the later version of the Trophy, ie 96 onwards, gel seat also fits the earlier version, '94. Has anyone actaully tried this to see if it really does fit?
I was given a part number of A9701161 for the gel seat.

I'm very curious to find out as a small trip up and back to London began to hurt a lot. (previous back injury tho, it must be said)
Im planning a bike trip around the Highlands and islands as a testing trip for my plan to ride around Scandinavia.

Any input would be great,

Trophy seat

There are many who have tried and liked it. For feedback check out Yahoo Triumph Trophy Group. My 2000 has a Corbin which I have ridden from Milwaukee to Guatemala and back and am happy with. Many think Corbins are a bit hard though.

Make sure you replace your coils with Nology! Solves a world of problems.

many thanks for the info. Ill do some research on the yahoo group.
how much difference is there for the Nology coils to the standard units. My TT can be a lazy starter sometimes.

Cool gel seat?

Hi guys I have travelled from London to Istanbul and all over Europe on my trophy 1200, didnt know we could get a gel seat? Patrs hard to get on the road in many countries.

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love.
