wadi haifa,egypt- sudan
hi,
according to a posting in shipping section of this site, the wadi haifa ferry is for foot passengers only and is the only way into sudan from egypt! how can we get a four wheel drive into sudan from egypt? any help much appreciated.

The regular ferry can take on a few motorcycles, after all footpassengers have boarded. Four-wheelers must take the car-ferry, which leaves at irregualar intervals on demand. Ask around at Aswan harbour for info. You may have to wait a few days. Ferry costs a fixed price pro load. So it's to your advantage to find others to share the expense.
