Travel to Europe (Norway)

I am new to this site. I am planning on going to Norway for my parents 50th wedding aniversery and would like to make a dream come true by traveling europe on my bike. Here is the problem I really would like to take my bike, my dog and myself all on one flight or ship. Is there a company that I can take the dog with me in the cabin as I really don't want to have him stached away in a storage bin. He is a 22 lb cocker spaniel.

Very limited options, given your dream.

Since "9/11," USA aircargo security rules prevent vehicles from being airfreighted on same plane as passenger (for flights originating from USA).

Check with Motorcycle Express - Ship Your Bike, who may still arrange airfreighting bikes on same passenger plane you fly to Europe, originating Canada/ Toronto (& possibly Vancouver).

No seafreight that fits your dream, to my knowledge.

Your dog's a whole other story.... :cool4:. You might ask Motorcycle Express if the(ir) Canadian carrier allows dogs in passenger cabin.

There are many more options if you're willing to air or seafreight bike separately from your passenger flight.

good luck...

Don't know about Norway but certainly the UK has strict quarantine laws the require a dog to be contained for six months before it will be allowed in the country. It might be worth checking on this before you consider taking any animal with you. Anyway, how are you going to fit it on the bike ?
