Shipping from US (West coast) to Cairo/Alexandria, Egypt?
 

Hello fellow travellers,

I'm looking for a way to get my bike from San Francisco to Egypt. I've checked with many agencies in the US, most of them do not provide service for this route. The few that do are quoting $2300 one way for air freight. Is this a reasonable quote?

Has anyone done this? Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
