Shipping unregistered bike from US to Europe
 

I'm planning a trip from Ireland to Capetown - I live in New York and I just purchaced a used bike which I plan to ship (Air freight) to Ireland where I will register it an pay all the import taxes (I'm going to keep the bike in IRL forever!) - I don't want to register the the bike and pay sales tax in N.Y and then pay import taxes in Ireland. Does anyone know what I need to do ? is there some export cert? Thanks in advance.
