Shipping Ulan Bator to North America
 

We're looking into shipping options for 2 BMW F650GS at the end of August/beginning of September from UB to somewhere along the North American West Coast (anything between Vancouver and San Diego).

I'm currently comparing quotes from different shipping companies. First results are:
Air: Around 2400$ per bike
Land/Sea: Around 6200$ for a 20 foot container

Is anyone interested as well in shipping from UB during that time? As I already posted in another thread Vlad will be a horrible alternative in September due to the APEC summit.
Even the rate for air freight drops significantly if we gather more bikes.

Shipping of the 2 F650GS Ulan Bator to Vancouver will be the last week of August.

Anyone interested in joining us? This will decrease the per kilo cost for airfreight.
