Shipping Trouble from USA-JAPAN

Hi all
I got shipping trouble now.If someone experienced like this trouble, please let me know how to solve it.

As first, I came into USA from Mexico. When through border, I did not make any document for motorcycle beacause officer said do not need any paper work for motorcycle.(Of course I said I will back to Japan with motorcycle from USA).
Now I am keeping motorcycle in shipping company`s warehouse in LA, then I got email from this company today. They talked with custom officer and they said If I export motorcycle from USA, I have to bring document of temporary import. I do not know waht should I do because I have already back to Japan. I have to back to USA and make a document again? My motorcycle is registered in Japan, so very difficult to make register in USA.
Help.

So you are already in Japan yourself? Are you flying or shipping the bike to Japan from LA? If you need some assistance I can make a call on your behalf just pm me.

Hi Tetsu

Sorry to hear about your trouble man.
I'm sure if you mail them your original Japanese registration documents (Translated in English if possible) they will let the bike leave the country. We also found that different borders between Canada and US had different aproaches to our foreign bike, some didn't know what to do and others were effecient and had us do all the documents. But in most cases they always were friendly and understanding. I hope it is the same in your case. Sorry we cant help, already down in Mexico

Johan

Hi Johan, How are you? Thank you for your reply. And thank you for your kindly globalvisions.
I have already back to Japan by plane, and motorcycle is in LA now. Today I talked with shipping company but they couldn`t though I have passed all my documents(title and so on).it seems that only way to solve this problem is enter Mexico once and get temporary import at the border and back to states.Fortunately I have japanese friend in LA,he can keep motorcycle for a few months, so I will back to states and riding around south California again.
I am welcome anytime If someone have idea, I will keep watch it.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
