Welcome to HU!

First, check the shipping database - left menu, under Planning: Getting There - Shipping the bike

You are unlikely to find exactly that, but it will give you some great ideas and information to help you figure it out.

Second, I'd seriously consider shipping out of Buenos Aires if you can make that work. Brazil is a known major pain in the butt for shipping in and out.

When you've made your shipment, please add it to the Shipping database so other travellers can benefit from your experience!

Also don't forget to post a few words about your trip in the Ride Tales Forum, and send me a few words and photos for the E-zine / Newsletter too!

have a great trip!

trip

hello,

the database currently has no info for shipping brazil -> mauritania. but i will add the info once i manage to ship.

my trip started in los angeles on 26th January. After 109 days we reached Ushuaia and now we are close to Buenos Aires, going North.

If we manage to ship to Africa we will continue to Gibraltar and then to our home country, Romania.

For pictures for E-Zine feel free to browse our blog, Americas 2010

Cheers!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
