Same Same but different !!

I did the same shipping with same agent in July 2011 ! Hi Suraj !! how are you, how is your family ? Nice to see you in this video

Hopefully I met in Katmandou an other biker on tour, Hi Marko ! a few days before and we shipped bikes together. We could have better price with Suraj because price per Kg decrease for more than 500kg.

BUT, the day we planned the shipping, last day of validity of my CPD (useless in Thailand but I really needed it to be stamped for the exit Nepal before end of validity (deposit !)), "airport is closed". Workers and custumers were there, but not any parcel could go through the "border" and reach the international area. Suraj found a way to get my CPD stamped this day and bikes crossed the border and flew to Bangkok the day after... I can't explain how I was stressed by all this story.. Maybe Suraj can.

When we reached Bangkok, Custom for goods were closed for a special holy day... Sleep one night at the passenger terminal BKK airport, great ! the day after It was easy to get the bike out of the airport and all the paperwork done.

So easy as you show it in your very nice videoclip ! thank you for sharing with us part of your journey with video !!

Wich country are you going to travel after Thailand ? I'll be in Malaysia within a month (It will be the end of a 4 months break at home in France). Would be nice to meet !

Take care, enjoy !

See you,

Matt

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
