Shipping to Los Angeles, USA from Sao Paulo, Brazil
Shipping to Los Angeles, USA from Sao Paulo, Brazil
Any recent experience? I search the board up to Nov/2006 could not find any comment on this route so I was wondering if there is any recent shipment leaving Sao Paulo, Brazil, to Los Angeles, USA. What would be a good carrier?. How complicate that could be? The bike is registered in USA. Can it be done in a week in Sao Paulo? or not? Thank you |

when not at landborders brazilian customs (Receita Federal) are a nightmare. Shipping to Brazil is best to be avoided and shipping from although not as bad as the other way is still better to avoid when possible. I once shipped my car from Paranagua (seaport) and took me e week of runnignaround to get the paperwork done (together with an agent and I speak portuguese). Wpuld not do it again. Airports tend to be a bit better but still knowing how things work here in Brazil I would opt for any other south american country. Best will be Chili, otherwise Argentina.
