Shipping from Los Angeles-Tokyo - do you know these companies?
 

We have quotes from several companies to air freight OR sea freight our 2 Honda Falcons in one crate from LA to Tokyo. Appreciate any feedback if anybody has any experience of them.

Best quote for both sea and air has come in from DandD Services inc

Sea: $625
Air: $1185

Costs exclude crating and Japanese customs costs.

The other companies we have costs for are K-Line, Vantec and Yamato.

Would we be able to clear customs in Tokyo (sea or air) without an agent? We don't speak Japanese but hopefully a Japanese friend will be able to accompany us. We have carnets which we know we have to go to Japan Automobile Federation with first.
