Shipping from US to Malaysia

:mchappy:
Greetings fellow bikers. I decided to give up on shipping my bike to the Philippines and decided to get a carnet and ship to Malaysia. Malaysia seems to be much easier to deal with and from what I understand they provide up to 90day visas on arrival. Does anyone have a recommendation on a freight forwarder that can handle this? I am looking to do as much of the work in the process as possible to keep the cost down. Which port is the best to deal with in Malaysia? Also I would like to store the bike in Malaysia for a couple months while I travel in the Philippines, so I am looking for any suggestions on a safe place to store the bike. Cheers!

Philippines - Malaysia on your own bike

hey there,
are you still looking for advice for storage in MY or even going to the Philippines with your bike? I might have found a way, legal and with help from the Philippine governments.

Riding at present around the Philippines - real good experience with the locals, police and government - guess the old saying holds some wisdom - the way you treat them, the way they treat you!

Let me know - and if you are now in MY - go to Kota Kinabalu Mountains in Sabah - awesome!!!!

We've been looking for the same thing. Looking to ship the bike from the US (east coast) to Malaysia.
Did you have any look with shipping your bike?
Anyone want to share a crate (west coast will work too).
