Shipping from Middle East->Ethiopia
Hi,
I've looked through the shipping pages without success, so I'm hoping someone out there can help. As I don't want to pay the exhorbitant 800%:eek3: duty to travel through Egypt, I need to ship from the Middle East (preferably Jordan) to Ethiopia. Is this possible? Cheers Derek. |
Ethiopia isn't on the coast. If you're intending putting it on a boat, then Aqaba in Jordan to Djibouti might be an option. Then ride to Ethiopia. Never did this.
In late 1999 I airfreighted my bike from Cairo to Addis Ababa. Never again. Get yourself a carnet de passage to cover Egypt. There is plenty written about this in the Trip Paperwork section.
