Shipping from Johannesburg to Cairo
 

Hi Guys
I would like to ship my bike from Johannesburg to Cairo middle of next year and then ride it down to Cape Town. It sounds like a very complicated procedure! I haven't been able to find a shipping agent or clearing agent that have experience of doing this. I was told that the bike would be treated as "hazardous equipment" due to fuel and oil in it. Some people go as far as suggesting that even the fork oil should be drained!!!
Does anybody by any chance have experience of doing this? Any agents to recommend?
