Shipping Documentation and procedure- any info?>
Hi Everyone,
I am planning on shipping my motorcycle from USA ( TACOMA ) to GERMANY (BREMERHAVEN) with Wallenius company. I am aware that I can hire a freight forwarder company to do all the work for me but I would like to do it myself and learn since I am planning on doing this often. My question is regarding the procedure of custom paperwork and etc. So far my understanding is that, I should book the tranport, then deliver the bike to the port, and then go to the customs to do the vehicle validation. Can someone tell me the step by step procedure that needs to be done for this? How/when do I do the vehicle validation and AES? Any information would be really appreciated. Thanks
