Are you in Bogota now?? I'm staying with someone who works for an American company and he might know. He'll surely have some connections. Email me at LC at LorraineChittock.com

cielos de Peru

He Pete, going home then! Hope you had a nice time in Colombia.
Go to the airport and contact :

cielos de Peru
Av El Doral No 116 - 85
Bodega 4 - Modulo 2 Nuevo termonal de Carga
Tel 011 571 414 7012.

They dealt with my on coming bike from Miami to Bogota. They are really nice and may be able to help you for the entire flight. Your bike may probably go via Miami as well. Talk to them. If not maybe my shipping agent from the UK may be able to help you: Dynamic International , email of a very helpful guy is there is :
s.badger "at" Dynamic-intl.com

Good luck,

Maria

Hi Maria! Thanks for that, yep, had enough and heading home...

I did contact Dynamic a couple of months back and they put me onto their guy here in Bogota. I mailed him again yesterday and just waiting on some quotes. If no joy then will head to the Cargo terminal you suggested. The HU community here has been really helpful too.

Hope your trip is going well, will check your blog shortly...

Pete ;-)

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
