Shipping from Birmingham, ALabama to Long Island, New York
Hello all. Any suggestions on shipping my bike from Birmingham to Long Island both in US? I got a quote for $650? that reasonable?

The price you were quoted does sound high for a one-way trip. Check out Shipping Masters at http://www.shippingmasters.com/. The price varies depending on whether the bike is crated or uncrated, and on distance. I used them to ship my bike from Denver to Nashville and it was ~ $450. Checked it out and they don't have Long Island but do have locations in NY. Prices were ~ $300.
